Current aspects of coronary heart disease diagnosis and treatment
5 - 10
The modern aspects of solving the problem of chronic coronary heart disease, in particular, angina have been considered. It has been noted that now there are possibilities of using not only the therapy with the proved effectiveness, directed to the reduction of the risk of complications, but also the drug treatment of angina (ischemia), improving the patient's life quality.
Fix
Multiple endocrine neoplasia in practice of primary care and family phyisicians
11 - 15
Genetic, clinical and pathological as well as prognostic features of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes in patients depending on the disease type have been described. On the example of a clinical case, the ways of medical and surgical correction of pathological manifestations of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A syndrome in a patient were considered.
Fix
Changes in small intestine microflora in patients with acute intestinal obstruction
16 - 18
The results of microbiological studies of small intestine in the patients with acute intestinal obstruction, accompanied with pronounced changes in both aerobic and anaerobic component of intestinal biocenosis, have been analyzed. Dysbiotic disorders were progressive as the time period for the development of bowel obstruction increased with a significant rise of the conditionally pathogenic microorganisms in the specific content of intestinal microbiocenosis.
Fix
Possibilities of immunology studies in estimation of validity of burn wounds for skin plasticity
19 - 24
Metabolic and immune reactivity indices in the patients with deep burns have been studied. It has been established that the level of disturbances in these indices can be a marker of successful autological skin transplantation and can be used when planning the plastic surgery of skin.
Fix
Choice of surgery tactics in patients with high risk of anastomotic leak development
25 - 28
The level of cryoglobulins in blood of the patients undergoing surgery in small intestine was estimated. Diagnostic value of this method in predicting the development of small bowel anastomosis has been noted. The results of using differentiated surgical tactics depending on the level of cryoglobulinemia have been studied.
Fix
Features of hemostasis system in women with thrombophilia as one of causal factors for unsuccessful attempts in extracorporeal fertilization
29 - 32
The results of examination of the women with unsuccessful extracorporeal fertilization in anamnesis, which indicate that they have a pathological activation of hemostasis system, playing a key role in pathogenesis of unsuccessful attempts in extracorporeal fertilization, have been presented. In this case, in thrombophilia a subclinical form of chronic disseminated intravascular coagulation develops, the leading link of which is the decreased counts of the blood anti−coagulant system.
Fix
Immune checkpoint blockade in breast cancer therapy
33 - 38
The review examines the results of using the immune checkpoint inhibitors in monotherapy and when combined with the standard anticancer methods, such as chemo−, radio− and targeted therapies, in breast cancer patients. Information on potential biomarkers of response to immunotherapy in breast cancer has been provided.
Fix
Cyclin−dependent kinases 4/6 inhibitors in combination with aromatase inhibitors in treatment of metastatic breast cancer (clinical observation)
39 - 41
Current published reports and experimental data on the use of palbociclib, the first representative of cyclin−ependent kinases 4/6 inhibitors, have been summarized. The results of randomized clinical trials have been presented. The described clinical case demonstrated the possibility of long−term effective control of the disease in metastatic breast cancer.
Fix
Analysis of clinical and anamnestic parameters in children with epilepsy of different age groups
42 - 47
The results of studying the features of clinical manifestations and anamnestic data in children of different age groups suffering from various forms of epilepsy have been presented.
Fix
Degenerative disc disease in young people. Medical imaging techniques
48 - 52
The etiological factors, pathogenetic mechanisms of development of degenerative disc disease, diagnostic possibilities of medical imaging techniques, in particular, ultrasonography, at the early stages, as well as during the formation of protrusion and hernia of the cervical and lumbar intervertebral discs at young age have been shown.
Fix
Features of psycho−emotional disorders in young patients suffering from chronic radiculopathies of vertebrogenic genesis
52 - 55
The results of studying the emotional disorders in young patients suffering from chronic vertebrogenic radiculopathy of the lumbosacral localization have been presented. These patients were found to have asthenic, anxiety and depressive disorders, the frequency and severity of which depended on the duration of the pain syndrome.
Fix
Concept of information processes organization in human visual system
56 - 60
In order to understand the mechanisms of obtaining and analyzing visual information in the visual system, the concept of organization of information processes in it has been proposed. When developing it the concept of controlled and unmanaged elements has been used. The developed information process scheme takes into account the stages of obtaining and pre−coding of visual information carried out with the involvement of retinal cells, as well as its multichannel transmission. Improving the efficiency of visual system occurs by reducing the amount of transmitted information by highlighting the information features of the object through the mechanisms of short−term and long−term memory.
Fix
Use of combined nucleotide drug in treatment of ophthalmic manifestations of Sjogren’s disease
61 - 63
The results of studying the rug "Encad−Biolik®" effectiveness in stimulation of corneal reparative processes in the combined treatment of Sjogren's disease have been presented. The use of this drug has been established to provide a shortening of the cornea epithelialization term, duration of treatment and to contribute to the improvement of structural results in corneal healing.
Fix
Analysis of expediency to use platelet−enriched plasma for treatment of androgenetic alopecia
64 - 67
Possible results of using the platelet−enriched plasma in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia have been analyzed, taking into account the current ideas about this disease etiology and the molecular and biological properties of platelets in regeneration of a damaged tissue.
Fix
Influence of genotypic variability of M. Tuberculosis on the course of tuberculosis with multiple drug resistance
68 - 71
The results of the evaluation of the therapy efficiency for the patients with multidrug resistance with the reveled genotypic variability in the treatment process have been presented. The influence of genotypic variability of mycobacteria on the success of therapy in the patients with multiple drug resistance has been established.
Fix
MicroRNA−122 as a biological marker of chronic viral hepatitis C
72 - 75
The expression level of miRNA−122 in the patients with chronic viral hepatitis C of the first HCV genotype has been determined. The data obtained demonstrate that in the patients this index was 29 times higher than in healthy individuals. The prospect of using the expression level of miRNA−122 was emphasized, which would allow the personalized diagnostics and therapeutic tactics in the patients with chronic viral hepatitis C.
Fix
Ways to solve the problem of prevention and main rehabilitation measures in toxoplasmosis in Ukraine
76 - 82
The problems of epidemiology, prevention and rehabilitation of toxoplasmosis in Ukraine have been considered. The features of the toxoplasmosis pathogen, ways of infection of the patients, basic approaches to the solution of the problems of prevention and rehabilitation of patients have been described. The necessity of establishing the toxoplasmosis centers, as well as creation of the national program for surveillance of parasitic invasions which will allow to control the toxoplasmosis spread in our country were shown.
Fix
Clinical parallels in infectious diseases of the central nervous system in patients with HIV
83 - 87
The analysis of the clinical picture of HIV−infected patients of various etiologies of the central nervous system (CNS) revealed mostly the non−specificity of their clinical manifestations. The main symptoms in all CNS pathologies were headache, fever, impaired consciousness and coordination. It has been established that an adverse prognosis for CNS infectious diseases is associated with their severe course.
Fix
Life quality of patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis when using alcohol
88 - 92
Indices of life quality in the patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis of different prevalence of pathological process, presence and absence of bacterial isolation in conditions of various degrees of alcohol consumption. Life quality indices were found to be significantly lower in the groups of patients with an advanced pulmonary tuberculosis, presence of bacterial excretion, and in the group of alcohol−abusing patients.
